Kestrel on Cactus

Moved by the shadow of ribs on the cactus and the color of the Kestrel, everything is done in paper even the spines. I added a bit of real spike to the cactus, by adding a few pine needles as spines. Paper, gel medium, charcoal on canvas. 11" x 14"
